I'm not sure why the post author stated Ubercart is still in alpha development, but we actually passed the 1.0 milestone on June 4, 2008. I hope you can update this post to reflect that so folks don't get the wrong impression that our code is not stable. We've actually had folks using Ubercart since the Alpha versions with successful stores, and even now you can find posts in our forums about folks updating from alpha and beta versions to the 1.0 version without any problems. Pretty good for in-development software if you ask me. : ) Hold the boat!
