Article marketing indeed plays a significant role in affiliate marketing, not just for affiliates operating on a budget but even for the superaffiliates although they tend to outsource the process of article submission or use an article submission software for it. It remains to be seen how the launch of Google’s Knol will affect the chemistry of article submission and seo.

I agree with you, we need a good article about the product so the customer will have more knowledge about our products benefit, and they will be interested to visit our site and learn more. We dont need a long explanation. Just a short article that make some points. I prefer to hire a professional writer.

I tend to agree with you that if it just looks like a really hard sell piece I’m probably going to ignore it. I can see the value of writing more balanced or research pieces on something — especially if it’s in a field you have some experience in.

Personally I am skeptical about articles embedded in affilate sites. They are simply advertorials trying to hawk products and to me it lacks credibility. In fact, I am extra suspicious when I see such articles and ended up spending more time doing research.

I think here you have discussed and given the valuable information on writing articles which must be unique. There must be some stress given to this point. If the articles are unique, surely the blog or site will crawled and the results will be one among the top 10 sites in google. Backlinks again an important point to be noted as said.

Once again you’ve written a very good post. I prefer to write my own articles since this way I am not dependent on another person’s schedule. Also, I do not have to pay myself to write articles. I do also use other people’s articles in my blog. I like for my blog to be a resource for my readers. I know a lot of entrepreneurs do not have a lot of time so I compile links and articles that would be of interest to them and post them to my blog. Keep up the good work.

Informative post. Writing original articles is always a great way to bring in traffic and thus generate interest in a product (hopefully leading to a bit of lucre). As they say: content is king.
