Everyone is looking to better optimize their websites for a variety of purposes, especially when it comes to increasing search engine visibility. If you are looking to increase your search engine visibility, one of the first things that you need to know when it comes to SEO or Search Engine Optimization is that content is king. It is your website content that is driving new traffic to your website. If you do not keep informative and interesting website content on your web pages, your website simply will not go far. Luckily, once you master a small handful of important considerations relating to website content that matters, you can begin to garner the attention of top search engines, and by proxy, a whole lot of website traffic.
Writing website content is not really all that it takes to increase website traffic anymore, but having good website content is still extremely important, though not all that your website needs. People need to be able to find your website first, long before they ever have a chance to read the website content that you have written. Luckily, a number of exceptional ways to attract people to your website also involve content, which means you can write a lot of great website content and use it in a variety of different ways for the best results. One of the best ways to increase the number of people visiting your website is to make your website more easily findable by search engines and visitors who are already on other similar websites.
Search engines love content, and they regularly troll content rich websites looking for more. Search engines love content because they know that internet browsers and surfers love content. Websites that are rich in content and that see a lot of fresh content get more attention from search engines, which is a great way to attract additional search engine visibility, and by proxy, more website traffic as well. You can also publish your content on other websites, providing links back to your own website. When search engine spiders find your content on other websites, they will follow the links back to your website, once again increasing your search engine visibility and increasing the amount of website traffic that you attract as well.
Once you are attracting the right people to your website, your website content is extremely important. Website content contributes heavily to the stickiness of your website. Stickiness refers to how easily your website can keep visitors, and web content is great at convincing website visitors and traffic to stick around, because as we mentioned before, people love content. People will go to your website looking for information, and as long as you provide the answers they want, they will stick around to read it. The more fresh, informative and relevant website content you have, therefore, the longer visitors will remain on your website to read it.

Easy to see how good content helps out with the search engines. Never thought about posting content on other sites to get link backs to my site. I am gonna give that one a try and see how it works out.
Thank you for the tip.

I think you’ve hit the nail right on the head. SEO is important - you can have a great website with excellent content but if the search engines never find it then nobody else will, and you are wasting your time. But if you design your website just to attract the search engines without providing great, readable and useful content (i.e. stuffing the page with keywords and designing it just for Google’s bots) then all those surfers you attract will be hitting the back button in a matter of seconds.

All this time I thought spiders will ban your site if they see content in your site that is similar to other sites. I didn’t know it can help. This is also one of the things that I will look at. Again, thanks for your tips.

For website content I would recommend submitting to blog search engines as these rely on the most recent content and are easier to target. This can also win you big points with google, which like unique and relevant content. But as usual, it will take a lot of patience and time.
