Website development involves implementing usability features, easy navigation and maneuverability, and features like a site map that make it easier for visitors to find what they are looking for. A website that is developed poorly will not meet the needs of clients, customers and visitors and therefore will not be effective, no matter how visually appealing it may be. Images, flash elements and other visual features of the website only go so far, and the web development is where the importance truly lies in web design.

Its true that when developing web pages, more concentration must be given to the design. A developer must be able to foresee the problems and difficulties faced by the customer. Not everyone will accept the rules but there are some standard rules he must follow it. More important is that the project should accommodate changes in the future.
